riddle #61

I do this all the time

Don’t ask exactly when

I have never injured another by doing this to them

Be wary of brown spiders

And one renowned boxing fighter

You may take it from crime

Or get them from bears

But be aware

What you do to food can cause you pain too

riddle #60

I am a noun eaten as a snack

I am a verb that comes with a crack

Most of what I am is thin so I do not fear a dip

Though I do not claim to be I am akin to a rip

I can crunch and be munched

But my noun will not eat

You may see a dentist

If you have me on your teeth

riddle #59

I may never end

But I’m only a line

I can shrink and extend

And envelope and confine

I am the currents

If I am a moat then I can defend

Life and death

And life again

There is none of me that is alike

If you like someone then get theirs right

What do adults have that kids may not

There are a lot of counting variable combinations

Punch me correct to have a conversation

Always grouped 3-3-4

Never less, but maybe one more

riddle #58

What is golden though only brief?

Stirs contentedly as we sleep

Unless deterred by a restless dream

It is not a physical action

But comes hand in hand with grief

Come seek with me,

And maybe this we’ll find

Bitter benefits, pair and prosper,

Pursuit shall we reap

Riddle #57

I am round but I cannot be turned upside down.
I'm not really from New York, or even Detroit
but call me their style.
If I'm extra large I'll be worth your while.
I may be a factor of heart attack, but I definitely don't cause it.
My tops are various, like a woman's closet.

Riddle #56

What shines, not unlike a bright smile but more similar to a lamp?
More out of reach than anything else.
This gives life to more than yourself.
What can supply power but not be considered an amp?
Not likely to fall anytime soon,
But what if it did?
It'd be dark in places more than just our rooms.

Riddle #55

This is something that can fly far,
but only in one plane.
Some people say they're playing a game
while others will say they're only fooling around
with this thing that is perfectly round.
That which goes around comes back around
and again and again;
as long as you and a friend know how to keep a good spin.

Riddle #54

No words nor sounds
they cannot speak
if memory fails
it's them you'll seek
Truth will unfold
with that never grows old

Riddle #53

This intelligent creature
has had pockets full of posy
If one is in the house
you may not get too cozy
Unless it's on a desk
And to call this thing a mammal
is theoretically correct.

Riddle #52

What is a verb yet also a noun
Without making a sound
What gets us in trouble while
we're speeding around
Don't use this language
I won't understand
Though translating its words
is in high demand
Whether it's in an office or on the street
Whatever it is is never discreet
One declaration is an illustrious list
Keeping the names of those who did this

Riddle #51

If you do use your eyes
And you do try to find
But you do not have to try
Just do or do not turn behind
Sight can be tricky
It can often deceive
I tell you truthfully
That you are unable to see

Riddle# 50

According to myth I am formed from the foam of sea waves
Though in my father's realm I won't know how to be brave
Hold, hold, for I am the Sir's thane,
the earthshaker, the war-wolf some say.

Riddle #49

Piercing rain
silent thunder
flying death
pray for Apollo
for Artemis
the warrior's of this crafty shot
